– Many other factors support Jamaican tourism. But, the most influential is that cruises have been including Jamaica as a port of call in rising numbers, rising to over a million in 2005. This has strengthened Jamaica 's global reputation as a desirable tourist destination, while increasing the demand for reliable food suppliers, tour operators, attractions and many other services. The impact of growth can be felt by farmers, craft suppliers, artisan, manufacturers and construction companies. So, the future of tourism in Jamaica is very bright!
