Broadcast Excerpts
Penny:
The Life insurance industry is just about the last industry anyone
expected would have become a victim of high tech. But it has. And
thankfully to consumer advantage. The very idea of paying for life
insurance, or any type of insurance for that matter, is unappealing
to most of us, but one insurance company out of Maple Glen, Pennsylvania,
says that they can provide AAA rated insurance at a fraction of the
cost of traditional insurance companies. How?
Mark:
The underlying idea is to separate the "Advice" component from the
actual insurance recommendation and sales process, that is to say,
take out the commission. But how can a company provide true advice
when the traditional advice process is commission based? Bardes Consulting
says they know how. Our Doug Eberhart investigates.
