TWO SHOT, ANCHORS IN STUDIO.

PUSH IN ON ANCHOR 1.

ANCHOR 1:

Each year, more than two- and-a-half MILLION pieces of traveler’s luggage are lost or mishandled in the United States alone. Airlines and other travel organizations are required to keep the baggage for just a short time, and then they are allowed to auction off each piece of luggage to the highest bidder.

ANGLE ON ANCHOR 2.

ANCHOR 2:

If you’ve ever experienced the hassle and frustration of trying to recover lost luggage, and/or you want to avoid such a problem in the future, there’s a new Canadian company that has a solution that you should know about. REPORTER is in Toronto, Canada (or, at specified airport such as LAX) with a report about amazingtags.com.

BEGIN WITH CLOSE SHOT ON BAGGAGE SPINNING BY ON CAROUSEL.

THEN, PULL BACK TO REVEAL REPORTER NEXT TO LUGGAGE-LADEN AIRPORT BAGGAGE TERMINAL CAROUSEL

REPORTER STANDUP:

Every airline flight across the continent renders hundreds of pieces of luggage like what’s on this carousel right now. Many bags look similar and it’s often difficult to tell them apart.

CLOSER ANGLE AS REPORTER HOLDS UP COLORED YARN AND PAPER AIRLINE TAGS

REPORTER STANDUP CONTINUED:

Until Amazingtags came along, travelers could identify their luggage with standard airline tags like these, tags that came with their luggage, or brightly colored fabric to distinguish their property from other passengers.

SHOT OF LUGGAGE WITH AMAZINGTAG ATTACHED AT HANDLE.

NARRATION:

Amazingtags are custom luggage tags that provide clear identification of your travel gear, and a speedy and effective method for recovering your items if they are lost or misplaced at any point along your journey.

ECU ON AMAZINGTAG SAMPLE BEING HELD IN HAND.

NARRATION:

Amazingtags measure four inches in length by two and three-quarter inches wide, and they are made of rigid, durable plastic.

THE HAND TURNS THE AMAZINGTAG OVER TO SHOW THE IMAGE ON ONE SIDE AND ACCESS CODE PRINTED ON BACK SIDE.

NARRATION:

Each tag is printed using a special technique known as dye sublimation. Heat and pressure transfers the ink below the surface of the plastic tags.

COLLECTION OF EXTREME CLOSE UP SHOTS OF TAGS FEATURING INDIVIDUAL PHOTO, GRANDKID PHOTO, A FAMILY PET PHOTO, A COMPANY LOGO.

NARRATION:

One side of the Amazingtag features a photo of yourself, or any other identifying image that you select to recognize your luggage. Some people choose to use a photo of their grandchildren, the family pet, or even a company logo.

FLIPSIDE ECU VIEW OF CARD DESIGN AND TRACKING NUMBER INSCRIPTION.

NARRATION:

The opposite side of the Amazingtag provides a tracking number that can only be accessed by authorized parties, as well as contact information (for anyone else finding your luggage) on how to report your items as found.

TRAVELER EXPERIENCE #1

SOUNDBITE:

1- Relates how his/her vacation was practically ruined by luggage that was lost and never recovered/or recovered so late that it caused many problems on the trip.

2- Feeling of helplessness at the time, and mistrust of the system now.

TRAVELER EXPERIENCE #2

SOUNDBITE:

1- Relates similar experience, perhaps on a business trip. Someone else grabbed his look-alike bag and didn’t discover it until they were miles away at their destination.

2- Eager to learn about anything like Amazingtags that could restore confidence in traveling experience again.

REPORTER AT AIRPORT BAGGAGE CAROUSEL

REPORTER STANDUP:

The need for a personalized identification tag to help you easily recognize your luggage on the airport terminal carousel is just one function of the Amazingtag.

CURBSIDE CHECK-IN OR INSIDE COUNTER CHECK-IN ACTIVITY

NARRATION:

When you are traveling, your luggage changes hands several times enroute to your destination, beginning with your check-in at the airport.

CHECKED BAGGAGE BEING PLACED ON CONVEYOR BELT.

NARRATION:

At check-in, your bags move on a conveyor belt to your airlines’ central outbound sorting point.

LUGGAGE AS SEEN ON CONVEYOR BELT FROM INSIDE THE AIRLINES’ BAGGAGE HANDLING POV.

BAGS ARE LOADED ONTO TRACTOR TRAINS THAT TRANSPORT LUGGAGE TO TARMAC.

BAGGAGE UNLOADING FROM AIRCRAFT TO BAGGAGE TRACTOR TRAIN.

NARRATION:

The process is reversed for unloading when you arrive at your destination, but it becomes more complicated when you have one or more airport transfers enroute to your final stop.

MORE LUGGAGE HANDLING ACTIVITY AT AIRLINE FROM AIRLINE POV (INSIDE BAGGAGE HANDLING CENTER).

NARRATION:

Make no mistake about it, the airlines work very hard to keep track of each piece of your luggage, but when you have several DOZEN airlines connecting through HUNDREDS of airports with TENS of THOUSANDS of pieces of luggage to account for EVERY DAY of the year, there’s bound to be some items that are lost or misplaced.

CLOSE UP ON HANDLER PICKING UP BAG AND EXAMINING THE AMAZINGTAG.

NARRATION:

Having an Amazingtag on your luggage is the most reliable, and inexpensive way to insure your property can be identified and located throughout the entire transportation process.

OTS REPORTER ON PAUL

REPORTER STANDUP:

Another way that Amazingtags protects you and your property is by keeping your name and address off your luggage tag.

MAINTAIN SHOT. REPORTER REFERS IN GESTURE TO HOME BEHIND HIM/HER.

REPORTER STANDUP CONT:

When you put your name and address, or phone number on a luggage tag, you may inadvertently be providing crooks with information that you are traveling—and that your home is a ready target.

AMAZINGTAG REP (SAME ONE USED THROUGHOUT STORY) ACCESSING DATABASE INFO.
